First 20th April of the Federal Republic of Kabylia
Kabylia, which proclaimed its independence on 12/14/2025, has just honored the struggles of the Kabyle people for their freedom by taking to the streets in Paris, London, Montreal, New York, and San Francisco…
I saw families marching with young children, elderly women and men who came from afar, Kabyles of different generations singing together their unwavering conviction in the forthcoming recognition of the Federal Republic of Kabylia by the international community.
We witnessed the expression of their unshakeable solidarity with the political prisoners, arbitrarily sentenced by the Algerian military and colonialist dictatorship.
Kabylia has shown that its pacifism is stronger than the violence of the repression, torture, and state terrorism opposed to it by Algeria.
My congratulations go to all those women and men who, once again, have defied and shattered the wall of fear.
My thoughts go to the Kabyle victims of political repression dead, injured, or imprisoned – as well as to their families.
My thanks go to the personalities, organizations, and foreign peoples in solidarity with the Kabyle people.
My pride goes to all these female and male activists, these executives and these structures that are the linchpin of this immense success, and to whom Kabylia owes this formidable mobilization that brought together tens of thousands of demonstrators.
The failure of the Algerian regime to corrupt Kabylia is now manifest.
The bankruptcy of the operation launched since 2021, consisting, through threats and blackmail, of poaching MAK executives, is more than a reality. Five years of dishonorable practices have led to nothing other than the squandering of colossal resources, mobilized in vain against the Anavad, the Kabyle government in exile, and the Movement for the Self-Determination of Kabylia, which, for their part, have succeeded in strengthening their ranks daily.
I salute our Amazigh brothers from Morocco who have organized marches, gatherings, and conferences in solidarity with the peaceful struggle of the Kabyle people for their freedom.
I invite the leaders of the military regime to draw up the catastrophic balance sheet of their fight against the right of the Kabyle people to its independence. They have only legitimized and strengthened it even more than before, through the political terrorism they have practiced since 2021.
– Repeal of criminal and liberty-killing laws.
– Release of political prisoners.
– Cessation of all judicial proceedings for opinion offenses.
– Opening of negotiations with the MAK and the Federal Republic of Kabylia in order to resolve the Kabyle question through peaceful and democratic means.
