You, the Kabylian!
One main purpose of life is to be happier, and knowing that everyone has the right to be happier.
It’s a fact, happiness is a strong feeling that unites us all, no matter where we come from or who we are. The idea that everyone has the right to be happy is like a breath of freedom, isn’t it?
But why is this so important?
It’s human nature: We’re all here to live, share, and experience life in all its forms. Happiness is like the engine that propels us forward. It’s contagious. When someone is happy, it spreads like wildfire. Imagine a world where everyone smiles!
It’s a fundamental right: Indeed, as the Declaration of Human Rights says, “happiness is one of those things that makes us truly alive”.
So, how do we ensure that everyone has a fair chance?
· Being available for others: A small gesture, a smile, a listening ear… it can change everything.
· Respecting differences: Everyone has their own definition of happiness. Let’s respect that, that’s all.
· Taking care of yourself: If you feel good about yourself, you’re more likely to spread good vibes around you.
Human Rights: The Foundation of Dignity
Human rights are like the foundation upon which a just and equitable society is built. In 1948, the Universal Declaration of Human Rights laid the basis of fundamental rights that unite us all.
The Main Human Rights:
· Right to life, liberty and security: No one should have to fear for their life or liberty.
· Right to equality: No discrimination, we are all equal, regardless of our origin, skin color, gender, etc.
· Right to dignity: We all deserve to be treated with respect and dignity.
· Freedom of expression and information: We have the right to say what we think and to seek the truth.
· Right to education and work: Education and a decent job are essential for personal development.
Why is this important?
It makes us human: These rights remind us of our worth and dignity.
It builds peace: When rights are respected, societies are more stable and peaceful.
It drives progress: Human rights are the engine of change and improvement.
And now ?
These rights are not just words on paper. It is up to us to defend and promote them.Justice and progress are like a winning combination for a better world! It’s good to see people fighting for everyone to have access to the same opportunities and rights.
It is extremely important to defend universal human rights, and even more so when you are committed to your own community, like the Kabylian people!
Kabylian culture and identity are rich and precious.
The MAK is the largest school of human rights.
Soon, the Kabylian struggle will be on the curriculum of major universities worldwide. Its powerfulness is in its peaceful struggle, and that’s a modern-day nuclear weapon.
