( Aqvu-Kabylia)–Yesterday, Algeria upheld a presidential election to ensure a second term to Abdelmadjid Tebboune. However, Kabylia boycotted the ballots for the second time–Kabylia people didn’t vote in Algeria’s election of December 12, 2019, and, on September 7, 2024, Kabylia made history again by outrightly rejecting Algeria’s election in Kabylia.
Even though Algeria’s military regime used all means to push Kabylia people to vote, including repression and intimidation, Kabylia stood strong and united against Algeria’s insidious political intervention in Kabylia.
Now, it’s clear and certain. The Kabylia people are rejecting Algeria’s administration and authority in Kabylia. Therefore, it is time for a peaceful and democratic political transition. Algeria’s dictatorship must comply with international law and facilitate a referendum of self-determination in Kabylia under United Nations supervision.
Congratulation to Kabylia, welcome self-determination referendum in Kabylia.
