(Kabylia)–Wafia Tidjani, a Kabylian woman known for her social activism in Kabylia and for defending her culture and identity.

She was extremely active on social media; however, recently she was muted.

On March 4^th, 2025, in the early morning, she was arrested in her home by a powerful convoy of the Algerian police forces.

From 2021 until now, over 500 Kabylians were arrested and detained.
