The members of the Kabylian Digital School are very pleased to announce the launch of computer science courses in the Kabylian language, beginning Thursday, December 5, 2024. 

These courses, prepared and led by Professor-researcher Samiya  Saad-Buzefran, aim to democratize access to technological knowledge while enhancing the Kabylian language. 

Some information about Pr. Samiya Saad-Buzefran (alias Samiya Nat Belɛid).

Pr. Samiya Saad-Buzefran obtained her doctorate in computer science at the University of Poitiers (France) in 1998. After four years as a Lecturer in Computer Science at the University of Le Havre, she joined the Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers (Cnam) in Paris in September 2002, where she has held the position of University Professor since September 2019. Until December 2023, she also served as a reference IT expert for the Research Tax Credit within the French Ministry of Higher Education and Research. Since January 2024, she has directed the CEDRIC Laboratory, which brings together more than 170 teacher-researchers and doctoral students. 

Pr. Samiya Saad-Buzefran is the author and co-author of many books, including the Dictionnaire d’informatique Anglais-Français-Berbère, Systèmes d’exploitation, Cartes à puce and Systèmes de gestion d’identité. 

With more than 120 scientific publications, her current research focuses on security in the Internet of Things (IoT), integrating artificial intelligence techniques. Pr. Samiya Nat Belɛid is also the coordinator of a French ANR project focused on the detection of attacks in cyber-physical systems through graph-based neural networks (GNN).

The members of  Kabylia Digital  School would like to express their deep gratitude and admiration for the visionary work of Pr. Samiya Nat Belɛid. Because of her research and  constant efforts to develop a computer terminology in the Kabylian language, her name is already engraved in the history of Kabylia.
