( Paris, France)–Congratulations!

On the left, the President Donald Trump. On the right, Ferhat Mehenni, Kabylia provisional government President in exile, and President of Kabylia self-determination movement

What you have just achieved is historic. Since the independence of the United States in 1776, this is only the second time that a defeated U.S. president has managed to reclaim the White House four years later. It is monumental!

On behalf of the Kabyle Government in Exile and the Kabyle people, I extend you my warmest congratulations on your election as President of the United States of America. We salute the will of the American people, expressed in a spirit of freedom and democracy, values that are also those of Kabylia.

The Kabyle people, while peacefully fighting for their right to self-determination, strive to gain international recognition of their fundamental rights and their aspiration for independence. This struggle aligns with universal principles of dignity, freedom, and respect for all peoples.

We are ready to work together to ensure that the Kabyle people finally exercise their right to self-determination, in line with their deep aspirations and the right of peoples to determine their own fate.

We would also like to work for the release of the hundreds of Kabyle political prisoners arbitrarily detained for “terrorism” by the Algerian colonial regime, although it is the one funding international terrorism through Hamas, Hezbollah, and the Polisario.
