Mr. Cherif Mellal, who was arbitrarily condemned to a prison sentence by the Algerian terrorist regime, has started an unlimited hunger strike to protest his unfair incarceration. His ultimate action may seriously hurt his life, if he doesn’t immediately stop his hunger strike.

We, Kabylia’s HUMAN RIGHTS activists, call on our brother and friend Mr. Cherif Mellal to stop or at least postpone his hunger strike.

We deeply understand the causes and inhumane conditions of his detention, as well as the grim situation of all  Kabylia’s hostages who are detained unjustly in the Algerian prisons.
Therefore, we reiterate our total support and unwavering solidarity, and assure them that we will continue to fight to make their cause heard internationally.
