Human rights violations in Kabylia have reached a grim milestone. Algeria racist regime is denying to the Christian community in Kabylia a fundamental right –Freedom of Belief.
Beyond closing several churches, the Algerian dictatorship has attacked worshipers, the case of Slimane Bouhafs illustrates violations of freedom of belief by the Algerian military regime. After he served a jail sentence, he sought asylum in Tunisia where he was under UNHCR protection. However, the Algerian authorities with complicity of Tunisia arrested and tortured him, then brought him back to Algeria to get incarcerated.
