The National Association of Kabylian  Collectives for Human Rights “Resistance Existence” launches a solemn and urgent appeal to all associations, organizations, democratic forces, political parties, men and women who are eager for justice to join a hunger strike on February 26, 27 and 28, 2026. This starvation demonstration will be concluded by a large gathering on March 1, 2026 at la République Plaza, in Paris.

This mobilization aims to denounce the repression carried out by the Algerian authorities against Kabylian prisoners of conscience,  and to express, from France, a  steadfast solidarity with those who are unjustly deprived of their freedom.

Because of injustice, arbitrary arrests, forced silence, we choose dignity and resistance, against submission and subjugation.

This action is initiated in support of Kabylian prisoners of conscience, in particular the prisoners of Larva N’Ath  Yiraten, imprisoned for their  peaceful convictions and commitment. Also, because of their attachment to the Kabylian identity as well as fundamental human rights.

We strongly affirm:

✊ The criminalization of any expression of opinion constitutes a serious violation of human rights.

✊ Political repression of peaceful activists cannot be justified.

✊ Silence is complicity.

✊ Solidarity is a moral and political responsibility.

We call on all free-thinking people to stand with prisoners of conscience and their families.

We call for a massive and successful  mobilization. We are counting on your presence and commitment.

Justice and freedom will prevail.
